Plan A Visit

 Getting to know each other

Walking into a new church is daunting. We get that. We know what it feels like to come to CCW the first time. But it is because of the first time we came, that we are now looking forward to every other time.

 Sundays at Christ Church Waterkloof

When:

We meet at 9:30am every Sunday

Where:

Hottentots Holland High
Island Street
Somerset West
Western Cape, 7130

 What Can I Expect

  • Most people would come at 9:15 am for a hearty chat. Children are checked in by their parents and by 9:30 we are called to worship as the service starts. The worship band leads us in praise and worship with lyrics projected on a screen. By 10:00 the children leave for Kid's Church. There is a comfortable designated area outside the main meeting hall where parents can look after their babies or small children while participating in the service. During the service, we are led to pray often. We read and are being taught from God's Word. Usually the service finishes about 10:45 with a final song and a blessing. We then all enjoy a cup of freshly brewed coffee and some eats before heading home.

  • Sundays at CCW are friendly and easy going. Come as you are. We would love to meet you.

  • On arrival, children (2-12 yrs.) are signed in at the front door. They join their parents in the main hall when the worship starts at 9:30. At 10:00 the kids are taken to their respective children’s church classrooms.

Teenagers (13-18 yrs.) also join us as part of the service.

We hope to see you soon!

The Drew Family

“We were eager to become part of a church that represented South Africa's cultural and economic diversity. As a multi-racial family we want our children to grow up in relationships with people from many backgrounds. We also love it that children are welcome and included in the main service. We are happy to have plugged into such a great local community.”

I have a heart for the lost, vulnerable and marginalised in our surrounding community. At CCW I found a like minded church member and we saw a need for children’s ministry in Sir Lowry’s Pass Village. Together we stepped out in faith. I’m thankful to CCW and my Missional Community for their love and support throughout this ongoing journey. Through the teaching of God’s Word, many kids and parents have put their faith and trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour. We give Him all the glory!
